Growing Together, In Nature

As a photographer, my work aims to celebrate the lives of young families and children. I love the way that nature holds a container for the pregnant body, honoring the wildness, tenderness, and raw beauty that women experience in a moment of great transformation. The curves of river rocks, the smell of ancient redwood groves, the sun peering through golden dry summer grasses….nature offers us moments of peace and play, nourishment and courage, a place to be together and connect. I photograph families in natural settings because I can witness true moments of togetherness between parents and child. Photographs are precious time capsules; a way to mark time in film. My goal is to create timeless images that evoke joy, love, and a sense of belonging, preserving these fleeting moments for generations to cherish. I live and work in and around the Bay Area.
